My name is Silvana Di Sabatino and I coordinate TRIGGER, a European project that brings together scientists, doctors, cities and communities to better understand how climate change affects our health and wellbeing.
I work as a professor and researcher at the University of Bologna, and for many years I have studied how cities, climate and the air we breathe interact.
The driving force behind TRIGGER is its Climate-Health Connection Labs (CHC Labs).
Let’s get to know them!
Where are TRIGGER’s CHC Labs?
The five CHC Labs are located in Augsburg, Bologna, Geneva, Heraklion and Oulu.
Each city faces different challenges: extreme heat, pollution, floods, fires, or impacts on vulnerable people.
At the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid there are visitors from these five cities.
Have you found them yet?
