By the way, I’m Lina and I come from Augsburg, in southern Germany. My friends and I play a lot in the city parks—you would love them!

At school I learned how climate change affects people in different ways.

Should I tell you a little more?

Key groups

Everyone’s health and wellbeing is affected by climate change, although some people are more vulnerable than others.

Conditions such as extreme temperatures or air pollution, among many others, can particularly affect:

Children and adolescents

Outdoor workers

People with lower socio-economic status

Pregnant people

People with disabilities

Older adults

What can we do?

Pay attention to the people around us. If there are more vulnerable individuals in our community, we can be more aware and support them if they need help.

Share clear and simple information. Many people may not know they are more vulnerable to climate change—like me!—and informing them can help prevent risks.

I give you the letter
“N” for Nature!
